What if oxygen is poisonous and it just takes 75-100 years to kill us?

My science teacher said he thinks that’s true actually

Yeah this is actually pretty much exactly what is going on. It’s why anti-oxidants are such a big deal. Bonus fact: oxygen oxidizes stuff in your cells or, in other words, it’s not toxic, just setting you on fire
very very slowly.

fun fact: the reason that the plural of goose is geese but the plural of moose is not meese is because goose derives from an ancient germanic word undergoing strong declension, in the pattern of foot/feet and tooth/teeth, wherein oo is mutated to ee. however ‘moose’ is a native american word added to the english lexicon only ~400 years ago, and lacks the etymological reason to be pluralized in that way.

Oh baby.  Keep talking dirty to me.

Animal Crossing

—8 AM

hyrulefan:

Animal Crossing (GC) 8 A.M.

There’s something special about all of the different hourly tracks of Animal Crossing for the Gamecube. Each song gives me a different feeling of nostalgia. The composer of these songs knew exactly how he wanted us to feel at each hour of the day, and composed these songs accordingly. I believe the music is what made this game feel so magical, and it’s also why Animal Crossing (GC) has remained one of my favorite games to this day, about 10 years after I first purchased it.
